Healed means the fistula is stable — not just when it looks fine in the mirror. Timelines below are honest ranges from my chair, not mall-kiosk promises.

Lobe: 6–8 weeks baseline. Upper lobe: 8–10 weeks. Cartilage: 6–12 months. Oral: downsizing at 2–6 weeks, full heal 2–4 months. Navel/nipple: 6–12 months.
